Financial Information
Payment for all professional services is expected at the time of initial consultation. If surgery is required, a deposit will be necessary the day of admission or to secure a future surgery date. The balance of the invoice is due at the time of discharge of the patient from the hospital. Maryland Veterinary Surgical Services accepts cash, personal checks, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express and CareCredit.
Due to the size of our company, Maryland Veterinary Surgical Services does not offer internal financing or payment plans. However, we do accept CareCredit. If you are approved by CareCredit then you can use your financing immediately before receiving a card. CareCredit will allow you to secure financing for 6 months same-as-cash. The use of Care Credit requires that the account holder be present at the time of use and that the account holder provide two forms of identification. The payments must be made on time and the balance must be paid in full or transferred by 6 months or interest will be applied retroactively. All payments are made directly to CareCredit. You can either apply at the hospital by phone or on-line at home using the CareCredit website (www.CareCredit.com).

PET INSURANCE
Current pet insurance programs are typically financial relationships between the pet owner and the insurance company. Maryland Veterinary Surgical Services works with all forms of pet insurance and will assist you with your individual claims for reimbursement. Maryland Veterinary Surgical Services does not accept payment directly from the insurance company.
